How do I change my plan?
You change plans inside Competely, not in the Stripe portal.
- Sign in to Competely and open the Billing & Plan page.
- Select Change Plan. The Choose Your Plan page opens.
- Pick the plan you want, monthly or annual, and confirm. Stripe handles the payment.
Important: always use Change Plan to switch plans. Cancelling in the Stripe portal and signing up again can leave your account flipping between the old and new plan, plus other edge cases. Going through Change Plan avoids all of that.
Timing of plan changes:
- Upgrades take effect immediately. This covers moving to a higher tier or switching from monthly to annual. You pay the new plan's price minus credit for unused time on the current plan, and the higher limits apply right away.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. This covers moving to a lower tier or switching from annual to monthly. You keep your current plan's features until then. The new plan starts on your next billing date.
