Why is my analysis empty?
If your analysis completed but looks empty or very thin, the most common cause is that one or more of the sites Competely tried to read didn't have much public content, or blocked automated access.
To diagnose, look at the comparison table:
- Check which columns (competitors) are sparse. If most of the table is filled but only one or two competitor columns are empty, the issue is per-competitor (see why is one competitor missing data?).
- If most cells are sparse across all competitors, the issue is more likely your inputs:
- Your product input in step 1 You may be too generic. A clearer URL or specific description sharpens the result. See tips for a sharper analysis.
- Your competitor list may include companies with thin public content (early-stage, no marketing site, or behind a login). Replace them with rivals who have a real public footprint.
- After editing your inputs, select Reanalyze in step 3 Analysis to run a fresh analysis. See how do I re-run an analysis?.
